Danny Mitchel is an experienced Impact Investment professional with a proven track record in Agriculture Finance across Sub-Saharan Africa and  Management Consulting. He has been an integral part of a European debt fund, specializing in the agricultural sector. In this role as a Senior Investment Analyst, he supported the fund through the full investment cycle (origination, screening, due diligence, IC proposal write-ups and portfolio monitoring). Furthermore, he’s been involved in a strategic sourcing project for a major agro processor in Eastern and Central Africa, where his mandate was to support the executive management in developing a lean procurement strategy, structure and incorporate smallholder farmers in the value chain.

Prior to joining Agri Frontier, Mitchel worked for Samawati Capital Partners as a Senior Investment Analyst, supporting the company in executing its Fund Management mandate and further working on a few investor readiness projects under the USAID- Strategic Investing Activity. He has a Bachelor’s degree in commerce, specialised in Finance from the University of Nairobi.
