David has worked in the African agribusiness and finance industry for over 27 years, he has been based in Nairobi since 1996, initially as the Managing Director for Rhone Poulenc/ Aventis (French and French/ German multinationals now part of Bayer) managing the Crop Protection and Animal health businesses, and from 2002, as a consultant working mainly on Development Agriculture.

David has worked with various investment funds and organisations including KPMG, (5 years working on the African Enterprise Challenge Fund) Msingi, Pearl Capital Partners, African Agricultural Capital and GalvMED as well as working with private SMES’s  advising on business development.

David has a degree Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Environmental Science from the University of Newcastle and a Master of Business Administration from Leeds.
