Specially designed for the 'missing middle' SMEs in East Africa
The East African Agri-Growth Hub will incubate agri-innovation, catering for the ‘missing middle’ Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Malawi. The Project will be an agri-innovation incubator based in Agri Frontier East Africa offices in Nairobi.
The three partners represent a unique combination of skills to offer structured support through four different programs that suit businesses at different stages of growth:
- Basic: Membership Program: SMEs wanting to test the waters with access to fund advisors, agri-tech specialists, lawyers, auditors.
- Intermediate: Accelerator Program: SMEs wanting to accelerate their business growth in East Africa through a 6-month program, with a pitching competition to win $25,000 in grant support.
- Further 6-months light touch (after Accelerator): Including check-in sessions, agronomical training, feasibility studies, investment readiness and capacity building for managers.
- Advanced: Immersive Program: Based in the UK this program is for SMEs wanting to accelerate their business growth in Europe, with a pitching competition to win $25,000 in grant support
